It’s hard to beat a good game of hide-and-seek when a blizzard rages on outside. Plus, with my aching back, a hunched over position – even if it means hiding in a recycling bin – feels strangely nice.

Great pic! This blog is such a great idea. I'm sure I would find it hard to come up with 30 different physical activities, so I'm looking forward to each day's revelation.
I sure hope your back feels better soon, Gen.
I second Fawn- great picture!
A couple of ideas for your physical activities:
- birdwatching while walking in a park
- head to a seniors centre to join in with activities there (the elders always love to see kids!)
- dance-a-thon to your childrens favorite music
Can't wait to see all of the activities!
So nice to hear from THE two most awesome-est blogger moms in the Yukon!
Kara, I love your ideas! Know of any children's music that doesn't drive one completely batty? :)
I recommend "Snacktime" by the Barenaked Ladies! Our favorite kids cd at the moment.
Cool! I've heard that CD is a good one...now I'm even more curious! I saw one of the Barenaked Ladies singers make a grilled cheese sandwich on some talk show promoting the CD.
